Anyone have insatiable hunger?
My daughter is 10w4d and feels as though she is starving ALL the time! She eats all the time but nothing seems to get rid of the hunger in the pit of her stomach. She has not been able to eat much protein in the way of fish or chicken (her m/s all the time) just won't let her eat it right now. She eats yogurt, cottage cheese, etc for protein and has even had a protein shake, but nothing helps. Anyone feeling the same way? What would help? Thanks! She eats alot of carbs which is pretty much the only thing she can hold down.

Re: Anyone have insatiable hunger?
I am feeling that way now, but I am 22wks pg with twins. I didn't feel that way at 10wks...I was nauseous most of the time. I am a vegetarian, so I don't eat any chicken and fish. I have been eating dairy, edamame, beans, and Special K protein meal bars (10g of protein per bar).
All of the carbs are probably making it worse....any white flour carbs will just spike your blood sugar, then drop it causing you to feel more hungry.
I would suggest eating whole grains, protein and a lot of fiber. I actually went for a consultation with a nutririonist when I first got pg (because of my diet). That may be something to consider...they may be able to help her figure out what would help her feel full and also get enough nutrition.

Re: Anyone have insatiable hunger?
I ate every 2 hours, mostly carbs because of MS. I ate a lot, yet didn't gain a lb. I lost weight actually.
