We have an '05. It has good and bad points. It has lots of cargo room in the back (it fits Casey's crate when the seats fold down.) My DH uses it mostly. He does complain that it uses a TON of gas so we are thinking of getting a diff. SUV. We still need the room bc of the crate and stuff for his job. I personally do not like driving it all that much - it feels too big and bulky for me personally, and it does not feel as roomy - feels like the ceiling is low. Plus we have gotten notices a few times about recalls and parts that we have had to bring in to get replaced. I don't know. If I had to get one again, I wouldn't.

We have an '05 as well and at first, we loved it. We still like it a lot but there are problems. We find that the acceleration/pick-up (getting on highways) isn't always great, and when the transmission shifts you can feel it while in the car. The worst is the enormous amount of gas it burns through.

We were tossed up with the Cherokee - DH and I have owned Jeeps and they have been sooooo reliable, but we test drove the Chevy Trailblazer and liked it soooo much better. It has sooo much more room in the back and more leg room in the back seat.

Plus we got a good deal on it Chat Icon
