Anyone have this Chicco Seat

The portable one and is it handy or NEEDED even?

They make me nervous to be honest........BUT I got one at my shower and am trying to decide if I wanted to keep it or not.

If it will eb a lifesaver or just collect dust.

TIA!

I never had one but wished I had. I had one that attaches to the seat ad used it all the time. So a portable one is great.,

My friend from work had one like this and LOVED it!!!!

Re: Anyone have this Chicco Seat

I did not trust them, but we are going away this summer, first to a friend's family home, so it will be great if i can bring this along. Second, to a cabin, also would be helpful.

I guess you can hold him, but isn't it kind of hard to feed and hold at the same time?

I had one and used it all the time. I took it both to restaurants where they did not have them (or were just too gross to use) or to friends and relatives. I thought this was one baby item that had traction.

Ok, maybe it's just me, but I could NOT find a table that this thing fit on. We eventually threw ours away. I got the Eddie Bauer one that attaches to the chair and folds up. Love it!

we have them! They're great but a pain in the neck to assemble quickly... but I am doing 2 so that adds time. I just use floppy seats over the highchairs instead.

My mom used one with me in the 80's. She loved it and never had safty issues. I am sure they are even more safe nowadays.

I prefer a booster high chair that straps to the chair. These things make me too nervous.

I wish we had a portable seat. But I would opt for one that attaches to the seat rather than the table.
We went to TGIF's this past friday and they had no highchairs left! It gets difficult holding a 1 year old in your lap for an entire dinner especially when he wants to get down on the floor. I did try a booster seat but it didnt have straps and he last an all of 5 minutes. I would keep it in the car and when ever you need it you have it.

Nope us too. All the tables we came across had a lip...
We bought a small portable booster that attaches to a chair and it has worked great.
