I'm guessing that's for the changing table?
I feel like I would need more room for lotions and things and it is kind of bulky..

I agree. I just use a basket. it's big but shallow. It holds the diapers, whipes, creams, lotions, medicines, you name it, it's in there.

Kind of like this but much more shallow. It only has about 2" lip.

I don't have it but I agree with the AP, I wouldn't have enough room in that
