Anyone in Holbrook?
We've been trying to figure out what the sirens were for. They've been going for almost 5 hours!

Re: Anyone in Holbrook?
Ok, now there are fire trucks driving all through our complex. I'm so confused as to what the hell is going on. We thought it was a parade when we heard it this afternoon, but i've never heard a five hour parade before

Re: Anyone in Holbrook?
Could be Santa on the fire truck driving around to all the kids of firemen. We had that last weekend...went on for a while too.

Re: Anyone in Holbrook?
I saw him go around the corner but they never passed my house. I will have to complain to my BIL who works at the Fire Dept-lol! They have been doing this for many many years. They start about 1pm and go until around 8pm.

Re: Anyone in Holbrook?
See, I grew up in Smithtown, where they always did it after dark, so I was totally confused when I heard the sirens all throughout the day. I did figure after a while that's what it was, but you never know. I live so close to Vets Hwy, and there's always sirens rushing up and down to there. Glad it was just Santa ALthough, I'm a bit sad I didn't get to see him

You must live about 2 minutes from my Grandparents...they're close to Vets on Grundy, by the Grundy Ave school.
I live in Kings park, and the Santa parade keeps getting better and better every year. I LOVE that thing!
