Anyone in the mood for a haunted school story?
So, it's been pretty quiet around the building lately, besides doors opening and shutting themselves, but tonight, the art teacher and I stayed late to decorate the gym for the holiday concert. We were the only ones in the building, and we were sitting, quietly chit-chatting while cutting some snowflakes out when we heard a woman's voice almost right next to us faintly and muffled say "Hello". I swear that there is NOTHING that could have made that noise and NO ONE was in the building. We both heard it and froze. My friend (who has seen an apparition before in the school) freaked the F out, but I kept saying, "Who's there? Can you say that again?" But nothing. You could hear a pin drop.
It was by far the freakiest and coolest thing I've ever experienced. I know some might say it could be anything, but you KNOW when you hear something like that. It was the most awesome thing ever, and I wasn't scared like I thought I would be if I ever heard something. What a cool way to start the week!

Don't be impressed because last June when my friends and I had to go back to the school at 11pm or so to drop off art work from the art show, my friend rounded the corner and saw the apparition of a woman and I ran screaming out of the building. Literally.

That is sooo weird. It seems like they want to communicate with you. At least they're not "bad" ghosts.

Hey now! I give a lot of time and energy to my school! Well, that and it's the only time creepy things happen, so there's a select few of us not opposed to being there late.
But in all seriousness, a lot of the stuff, like the windows opening on their own, my friend seeing a woman in her doorway, etc., has happened during the day.

Some do. In fact, my first year there, the third grade girls at the time came to my class after recess and asked me who the woman with the bun in her hair was in the bathroom. They said she had a long black dress on. They were just curious who it was, but that's the exact description my friend gave me of the woman she saw, and the bathroom they were in was outside her classroom There's rumors of a ghost, but they think it's a joke and we tell them there's no such thing as ghosts.

Yes, I have heard this, too. That was the only time any of them had said anything to me like that, but we're having another sleep over soon, so we'll see if that changes
