Anyone interested in a Newborn Moms & Babies GTG?
One of my friends, who is a LIFer, was telling me that when she had her DS, a bunch of LIF moms with kids around the same age started getting together weekly, and it was a great support. I would love to start something like this, as I could definitely use the support and camaraderie of other newborn mommies. This stage is so hard, and I'd love to talk to others who are going through it too. I'm finding it intimidating to get out of the house with my 6-week-old DD, because she has been so cranky, and starts screaming in the car, but if I have plans, I will make sure to be there. I was told that there is a great family room for feeding and changing in Sunrise Mall. Also, The Source is really quiet for those who want to keep their kids away from too many germs. We could also do a park if there's shade and it's not too hot out. Is anyone interested?

Def! DD is 8 weeks... I could use adult conversation at this point  I'm all the way out in Holbrook though so I'm not sure how far I'd travel...

I'm in! Dd is 6 weeks on saturday and I'd love to start to get out and meet other new moms. I'm in queens but totally willing to travel out to li since I have a car and my parents live out there. IM going back to work in September but I'm free most days til then. Then once September hits I'd be willing to do weekend things too!

I would be interested if i didn't alredy have a 4 year old!
ps: Congrats on your new baby!!! I stopped following the pregnancy boards after i had mine.
