Anyone know of any historical homes or different types of places you can rent out on the south shore?
I'm looking to book a party in a space where I can bring in my own food and decor but I don't want a VFW hall or something like that. My shower had been at The Setauket Neighborhood House which I loved and I was looking for something similar to that on the south shore, anywhere from Seaford to Sayville and I can go north up to the middle. Does anyone know of anything like this?
Or, if you know of another room that can be rented that's not part of American legion, etc., I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks!

It's far from Seaford but Bailey arboretum in Locust valley is the only place I can think of.

Vanderbilt Mansion at Dowling college
ETS: Nevermind...they must have changed. They are Lessing now. You cannot bring in your own food
