Anyone know of any NICE Knight of Columbus type halls??
Hi,
We are looking to have Robbie's Christening. Does anyone know of any nice Knights of columus halls or similar halls that are not UGLY looking?? I already checked out the FAMOUS Memorare club in Seaford. Not good. Too big and the other room is too small. Thanks SO much! Looking for Suffolk/Nassau..
TIA, Denise

There is a nice one in centereach, and also Ronkonkoma has one it is very nice but small. They were extremely nice and let us us their hall when my grandmother died to have people come back and eat, so we didnt have to cram everyone into my moms small house.

not sure if it's too far for you, but there is a really nice hall on Marcus Avenue, I guess the neighborhood is Lake Success or New Hyde Park.
the hall has a dance floor, separate bar area, real chairs (not folding). I've been to a few parties there and everything was really nice

I don't know if it's a KOC but right by the train station in Wantagh there is a club that I had my bridal shower at many years ago. It was very nice/clean.

There is a beautiful VFW on Lakeland Ave. in Sayville, I don't know if that's too far.
Also, there is a very nice KofC in Islip, my friend got married there. I hear the one in Massapequa is nice, however I have not been there.

There is an american legion hall in Bellmore. It's right by the shopping center where King Kullen and Piccolo is.

There is a Hibernian Hall in Islip. The room was VERY nice. Heard it wasnt that inexpensive though. Went there for a friend's 40th surprise party.

I agree that the one in Centereach is very nice. My cousin had her Sweet 16 there 2 years ago and I thought it was really nice.

The one in Oceanside is really really nice. I almost had my wedding there. The foods is really good and the place is so pretty. They have a gorgeous room on the lower level that would probably be good for you. They do have an elevator. Good Luck.

ITA!! This is a very very nice one. You would never even know it was a KOC by the outside. Plus they can do the food, decorations, etc for you if you want.

There is a very nice looking one (I've never been in it) on Searingtown Road before you approach the duck pond on the corner of Herricks and Searingtown. I guess the town is either Roslyn or Herricks.
