Anyone know where i can just rent a room??
My DD is turning 4 and wants a princess party. I was going to have it at my apartment but it is just too small. I just want a room big enough for 20-25 people. we dont need a kitchen. And i dont want to have it in a plcaesuch as fun 4 All or chucky cheese. Just a simple room for the kids to play in. im ordering pizza. everywhere i look is soo expensive. i only need it 2-3hours max. Is this possible anywhere is suffolk?? I wish my complex rented the rec hall but they stopped doing it a few years ago.

Yes google your local knights of columbus. I had my dd party in 1 and its a plain room you decorate as you please.

Do you know what that cost about..i have been getting quotes for $400 and i just cant afford that to have a small party.

Even the Heritage center is now up to $110 an hour with a 4 hour minimum.

I know you said you don't want a party place, but for 25 people imo it's just not worth it to rent a koc type place. They all run at least $300and for that you can have a place that includes activities and food for the kids. I think your only other option would be a rec room at a friend ir relative's complex/ building etc.

The firehouse on Johnson Avenue has a great room. Not sure on pricing though.

i'm not sure if this would accomodate your guests..but there is a new place called Happy Faces in Coram on route 112 she does entertainment outside of the house we used her for son's 1st birthday party and now she opened her own play place. You can find her info on Facebook

look into renting the party room at Michaels' last time i checked it was like $50 and you have to by the stuff there to do a craft - but you can use the michaels coupons and find a cheap cute princess craft that they can bring home as their favor :)

just looked online - $50 gets you the room for two hours and a "craft helper" u can bring in all other food and activities
