Anyone live in the North Shore school district?
Can you FM me? It's one of the districts DH and I keep coming back to and I had a few questions. Thanks!

Cathy, I hear its pretty good. We are looking in that area too. The Glen Head area. I am pretty sure PaulandLes912 (from the Parenting board) is a graduate or grew up in that area. You can FM her too.

Thanks! I'll shoot her an FM.
My FSIL teaches there and loves it but said that she feels like the kids are very money and label focused. We're trying to figure out if it's really that much worse than any other area on LI. I mean, I don't want my kids to be spoiled rotten brats or anything, but I remember how it was in HS.

sounds like what you would hear from many of the surrounding districts!
