anyone looking for childcare?
I've been a nanny/babysitter for 2 years and just found out that I will probably not be needed much longer and this could not come at a worse time... we are expecting in August! The situation would have been perfect, the family I work for is 5 mins away for me, I put two on the bus in the morning, throw some wash in, do the dishes and then take the little one to my home after I get him dressed, feed him breakfast. We do SO many activities. I come back to their home about a half hour before the bus comes, put the wash in the dryer, let out the dog, get them off the bus, and help with homework. I have been there for 2 years have gotten so close with them that it's going to be so difficult. I need to find another job watching kids fast because we can't survive on just my husbands income. I put ads on craigslist, care.com, and sittercity.com this is what I put can anyone give me some feedback... like what should I add, take away, etc. TIA
I am a stay at home mom available to watch your child from my home located in beautiful South Amityville. I am available full time or part time. I can even pick up in the morning from your home and drop off at the end of day, drop off/pick up from preschool, elementary school, after school sports, etc, and not just in my town, but in any local town (i.e. I'm willing to travel). I can help with homework, help to tutor your child in Global/American History, anything Literacy related, and Spanish.
A little about myself, I am 25 years old, have a degree in secondary Social Studies Education and currently working on my masters in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have experience working with special needs students, ESL students, toddlers, and elementary age through high school students all while working in a local school district and have worked as a nanny.
I LOVE going out and doing things, HATE sitting inside and watching TV, so we will do plenty of activities! Currently we go to the library, walk down to the water, ride bikes, go to the beach, swim lessons, playground, park, take tours of the firehouse, go to the movies, etc.
References available upon request. I look forward to hearing from you!
