I'd rather be cold then hot too, but not too cold. 50's is fine for me. 
One thing about cold weather that I love is that my hair stays straighter
I don't think I need cold weather to get into the holiday spirit. I love driving around and seeing the houses all lit up w/ x-mas lights, and that puts me in the spirit.

Not really but I love to wear winter hats so I guess I'm looking forward to that.
