Anyone nervous that they are not going to make their scheduled C section due to stress or just the feeling that you will deliver earlier?

I'm so nervous that this will happen to me. I'm scheduled for my C July 29th and I just feel like my water is going to break sooner. My water broke with my first 8 days prior to my due date.
I've been really stressed the past two week. Today I had melt down and I'm running around after a 21 month old.
If I don't make my C date I run the risk of having another doctor perform the surgery. I know they are all capable but I REALLY want my ob to do it.

Yup, it consumes my thoughts 24/7 now.
What if I'm at work and I go into labor? How will I get to the hospital? (I take the train, and what's more, I WALK from my house to the train everyday, which is over 1.5 miles each way).
What if it happens on a day that DH is travelling to Scranton, Delaware or NYC? Who will watch my DD? (We have NO family to help). Who will be the scheduled ob/gyn for that day and are they any good?
Yes. I am IMMENSLY stressed about this, particularly because every day my cramps/contractions are getting more intense and more consistent. I just hope and hope the little one holds out for just one more week

Re: Anyone nervous that they are not going to make their scheduled C section due to stress or just the feeling that you will deliver earlier?
This happened to me with DS. I was supposed to have him on 8/3 via scheduled c/s but he had other plans. My water broke and I went into labor on 8/1. He was delivered by a doctor I had never met before. At first I was scared, but I knew that the other obgyn was capable and he really calmed my fears. Frankly, after DS was born I gave some serious thought to switching obgyn practices to the person who delivered DS. The doctor that I go to is in a solo practice but he is covered by 4 other obgyns. The night I gave birth to DS I had 2 of the other obgyns that cover for him do my c/s. They were both attendings who have been in practice for 15-20 years each. I spoke with them before the c/s and was completely comfortable with having them perform the surgery. They were fantastic. While I am going to schedule my repeat c/s for 9/30, I am well aware that I could go early again and not have my obgyn perform the c/s. This time however, I am completely fine with it.
ETA: If I go into labor before my scheduled c/s my neighbor has agreed to watch DS for me until family can get here. They all live 1 1/2 hours away. I completely trust her with DS and my DS really likes her and her family.

YES!! I just had my last OB appt today My c-section is next week. I am so freaked out about going into labor early. I am alone with my 2.5 year old all day so I worry what I will do with her. I am going to try to take it as easy as I possible can for the next few days so as to not stir anything up
