Anyone not even thinking about breastfeeding and not feeling guilty about it???

I didn't the first time and will not the second time. Just not for me...then or now.

Anyone else?

I was going to try it with B but due to complications, I didn't. This time, I am not planning to try either. With my personal family situation, it just doesn't make sense. I don't feel guilty about it either.

Im not breastfeeding and I dont feel guilty about it at all! Its def a personal choice every women has to make for themselves and its just not for me.

I never gave it one second of though, it's just not for me. Never got and flack for it either.

I hated the idea of breastfeeding and really didn't want to BF. DH was adamant and I remember being very angry and upset at DH while I was pregnant.

Once DS was born, I fell in love and wanted to give him the very best that I could provide. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed BFing.

i am not BF and do not feel guilty....while i did try...due to lack of milk production i couldn't...but i dont think i could have lasted that long doing it either with a 13 months old running around.

I never once in my entire adult life thought I would breastfeed.
It was never even an option for me and not once did I feel guilt about it.
My DD is now thriving on formula and gaining weight beautifully.
She is healthy, strong, happy...that's all that matters...

Nope...

My experience with Samantha was extreamily tramatic for me, and I will not even attempt it this time around. I don't feel one ounce of guilt as I remember as if it was yesterday how it felt like a load of bricks being lifted when I stopped BFing her and how good I felt after making the decision to stop.

Despite my husbands disapproval with my choice, this baby will be formula fed from day 1. I can't imagine how much more stressful BFing would be with having a very clingy 18 month old at home with me trying BF a baby.

I told DH he has no boobs, decisiion is not his to make.

Me.

I know from my last pregnancy that PPD is quite imminent and I need to be on medication to control my own anxiety and depression.

For my first I pumped for 6 weeks because he wouldn't latch. I was miserable (not really because of that but that just added to the stress).

I almost feel a huge weight off my shoulders knowing we're going to go right to FF. Yes, I feel a touch guilty but I honestly feel that I don't have much of a choice. I refuse to live another minute in that state of mind.

I am not BF at all with this one - and didn't with DD 11 years ago either. I don't regret it one bit !

I feel that DD and I bonded just fine and she was healthier then if I BF because I don't eat healthy at all and would have had to force myself to do so for her to get all the same nutrition.

I do however, give a LOT of credit to those who to BF.

Not at all! I decided to try with #1 but my milk didn't come in. This time I would not even attempt it unless milk was literally pouring out of them - and even then I wouldn't do it once out of the hospital.

Thinking about it.....I did a few times, but I know it's not for me so I am not even trying.

Not PG but wanted to give my opinion...

I had so much trouble with my DS that it really messed with me emotionally...if I am blessed again to have another child I really don't think I am going to even attempt to BF.

I didn't with my first DS and didn't feel guilty at all...many people made me feel guilty about it but I did what I wanted to do.

i BF my first DS for about 12 weeks and hated it. this time around i didnt intend to BF the twins, but then i felt guilty not doing it bc i did with my first. i still hate it and everyday i vow to stop. its been 8 weeks now and i will probably stop shortly. my DH actually wants me to stop bc i complain so much about it...especially with the twins - it is way too much work.
its such a personal decision and no one should make you feel guilty about doing it or not....

I tried it a couple of times in the hospital with DD because they made me feel guilty..it didn't work out and I was ok with that...not trying this time around...

I BF'd Abby for 2 and a half months and it was the single most miserable experience I had as a new mom. Abby did not even make it to the breast until she was at least 6 days old as she had been a NICU baby who was not able to nurse. I weaned her off the bottle onto the boob and it was horrible. After that we both developed thrush. My version was so excruciatingly painful, I swore up and down I would NEVER do it again. I am simply NOT interested and there is nothing anyone can tell me to change my mind. I thank G-d I live here and not in Indonesia.

ETA: Not a shred of guilt.

A few of my friends who are BTDT moms didn't breastfeed for #1 OR #2..

It's a personal choice for everyone.

No desire at all! If the hospital pressures me i'm just going to make a sign that says I'm not interested and leave me alone.. lol. Don't feel guilty at all.... there is nothing wrong w/ formula.

I didnt either time and didnt let anyone make me feel guilty. Crazy as it sounds, I think the stress it would have put on me and the baby (because I had SUCH anxiety about even the thought of it) would have outweighed the benefits.
