Anyone not have a sister a wish they did.....
I guess through planning my wedding it really hit me that I wish I had a sister...I have 2 younger brothers. I have people who are like sisters....like my FSIL but its just not the same. I am jealous of people who have sisters

Yes, but I have 1 really close gf that I consider my sister. Of course, I always wished that I had a biological sister, but we are so close and so alike, that its ok.

I always wished I had a sister when I was growing up. My mom and her sister have a great relationship.
But I'm very lucky in that both my younger brothers married women I am happy to be related to. And DH has an older sister, so I got wonderful sisters-in-law, two younger and one older.

I always wanted a sister. When my parents got divorced I was really bummed, not because of the divorce, but because I knew a sister would DEFINITELY not be happening. Then my mom got a boyfriend and I begged them to have a baby, I think they thought about it for a while, but it never happened. I just have to settle for my two sister-in-laws!

I am an only child and never really needed siblings because I am extremely close with all of my cousins -- and being Italian you can imagine how many cousins I have!!!
But I do understand what you are saying. My mom is one of four girls and they are sooooo close - it really is a nice relationship to have!

I always wanted a sister (I have two older brothers) although I did gain a wonderful SIL five years ago who is like a sis to me but she lives too far away

Its so funny- 2 of best friends are twin sisters- we grew up together ( they are like family)
I have always admired thier bond- always wanted a sister too

I always wanted a sister. I have an older and younger brother. Although our relationships are great now, as the only and middle girl...life S U C K E D. They both could beat the crap out of me!
