anyone not have m/s?
I'm almost 9 weeks and have not had any morning sickness (yet!) Is this a bad thing? The reason I ask is because someone made the comment to me that if you don't have morning sickness it could mean that the pregnancy may not be viable. Is this true or just a stupid comment? She has me paranoid!

Re: anyone not have m/s?
Don't worry it was just a stupid comment. Lots of people don't expience morning sickness, it has nothing to do with the PG being viable, it's jsut how your body handles the PG hormones.
I didn't have morning sickness and i'm 25 weeks and doing fine

What a stupid comment! I had m/s, but plenty of people don't. Consider yourself lucky if you don't get it.

Re: anyone not have m/s?
That was a really stupid thing to say to you and not nice at all!!
Don't worry there are many people that didn't and don't have M/S......I didn't at all (not even once) and I consider myself just lucky at 18 weeks now!!!

Re: anyone not have m/s?
OMG, what a silly thing to say!!! I had NONE at all, just one or two "almosts" that were ALWAYS food-odor related. But I never once threw up! And I went on to have a really awesome pregnancy, so DO NOT give it another thought! Enjoy your food, and count your blessings!!!

Re: anyone not have m/s?
I did have M/S but my mom never did for both my sister and I and all I have to say is those comments are BS! I've heard silly comments like that too, if you have MS than that means your baby is "growing strong"...not true at all!Everyone is different!! Consider yourself lucky!

Re: anyone not have m/s?
I had ZERO morning sickness. Actually, except for the lovenox that I had to inject in my belly daily, I had the easiest pregnancy EVER

Re: anyone not have m/s?
I had no morning sickness. I was nauseous a little here and there and didn't feel like eating much, but I was never sick, or even close to being sick - and I'm having twins.

That's just a stupid comment. I have read that if you DO have m/s you have LESS of a chance of a M/C - I dont' know if that's true or not - but not having it doesn't mean the pregnancy is doomed - WHO says things like that to a pregnant woman anyway?? I am 9w4d and I have NO pregnancy symptoms other than being completely exhausted (last night I was in bed at 8:45 ..........I'm normally nowhere near the bedroom until at LEAST 12AM - and I get up at 6:30AM) I was kind of freaked out since I haven't been to the Dr. yet (going Friday) so I took another pregnancy test Yep, still pregnant. -
Don't wish for M/s !!! I am that I've somehow managed to avoid it !! I hope it lasts for the next 31 weeks !!

Re: anyone not have m/s?
Silly comment to make to a newly pregnant person No, it does not mean the pregancy is not viable. I did not have true morning sickness with either of my pregnancies- I just felt icky a bit.
