Anyone on here a car sales person, or know one personally?

I have a question. I have a 2007 car that I owe about $20,000 on. I was looking to get a pre-owned, larger, less expensive car.

My question is, if I trade in the car and the dealer pays it off and I get a new loan, is it possible to roll the sales tax into the new payment, or does it have to be paid when I pick up the new car?
