anyone on OrthroEvra? (the patch)
how do you like it?
does it make you break out?
gain weight?
boobs get bigger?
i used to be on it way back when, but i stopped and i just went back on it after being on the pill.
i dont know.. my face has been extra puberty-ish and i dont know if i'm bloated b/c of it or from drinking too much....
the only good thing is i think my boobs are getting bigger!
anyone else have these experiences with it??????

I didn't like it because I couldn't control when the hormones were going to hit and they make me a little nuts.
With pills I could take them at night and not be so emotional, but with the patch I couldn't control the crazy.
And I felt bloated the whole time. Started with the boobs and moved to the rest of me. 
Went back to the pill almost immediately.

My cycle was irregular, so she told me to leave the patch on for 6 weeks, so I would skip a period. Well, I got my period WHILE I had the patch on and it was incredibly painful. I ended up taking the patch off and when I put the patch on after it was over, the pain came back. I never gave it another try after that.

I was on the patch for 2 years before my daughter and I never had any problems with it... I have such a problem remembering to take my pill everyday.... I plan on going back on the patch after I finish BFing my daughter.

That was my problem! I have been on it for 3 years now.... and I LOVED IT!!!
But I actually just went off this month to see if this might be the cause of me not being able to lose some weight!

I'm on it but I don't have any problems at all. In fact I felt like I gained some weight when I was on the pill a few years ago.

I used it for a while - it was great - my boobs are big on their own, didn't notice any difference.....

I was on it for a year, didn't have any of the above problems. My only issue with it was I was constantly having break through bleeding to the point where I felt like I was getting my period every 2 weeks so I went back to the pill.

I was on it for two years and had no problems. I, like the others, would forget to take my pills and then I would end up with breakthrough bleeding, so this solved all my problems...with no real side effects.

I used it for about 8 months or so - the adhesive REALLY irritated my skin in the warmer months, causing my skin to split and bleed. In the cooler months, it wouldn't really stick to my superdry skin!!!
I've been on the ring for about 2 years now (NuvaRing) - it's a GODSEND!!! Same idea as the patch, but it's a little rubbery plastic thing that goes *in there*. No weight gain or boob growing, and much less moodiness.
