Anyone on their feet for a long period of time?
Bartenders/Servers/Nurses....
Please recm'd a pair of shoes that you find to work best.
I've been wearing ballarina flats for 10+ hrs and they're just not cutting it b/c they offer no support.
I went to aerosoles and no luck there.
I do want something a little more dressy than sneakers.

If they look like shoes - definitely. I've tried going the all leather black Puma sneaker route but they weren't dressy enough.
It's for my personal business - Wedding Planning/Day of Coordinator....so I need something a little dressier.

Re: Anyone on their feet for a long period of time?
Have you tried Geox? There shoes are supposed to be very comfortable. I know there is a store in the Queens center mall and in Roosevelt Field. They have flats and sneakers that have more support. Some of the shoes look a litle frumpy, but I will see if I can find any cute pairs.

Chris,
I got a pair of these for my preggo commute to work and I wear them at work as well...they have cushions and are super comfy...when and if you order them though, make sure you get the extra width (B) size... Image Attachment(s):

These are Geox on Zappos. They may not be the most "stylish" but they look comfortable and would serve the purpose!
I'm not sure if this pair comes in black.

I wear loafers, all the time. I know they're a little farty, but man am I comfy. I have a really pretty pair of Ann Kleins I got at DSW. Wonderful stuff.
LOL- how about easy spirits? Looks like a pump, feels like a sneaker? Remember the commercial witht he ladies playing basketball in their pumps?

I actually have these! Unfortunately, they don't offer enough support for me.

Re: Anyone on their feet for a long period of time?
Have you triesd arch support inserts?
Even in boots, my feet roll, so I use Dr.Scholl's inserts.
You mayve to try & few different kinds to find the ones that work for you, and you may find that different ones work with different shoes.

Re: Anyone on their feet for a long period of time?
I was a waitress and now am a respiratory therapist so I have always worked long hours on my feet. The ONLY shoes that I can wear everyday are my Dansko clogs. The pair I wear to work I have had for about 10 years and they are the most comfortable shoes in the world. You need to break them in a little before they get really comfy, but they are great for the back. Not too hot to look at but they do the job
