Anyone opt for PMI over an 80/10/10?
Is there a reason to do this?
Thanks for answering all my questions. I know I am full of them!

Re: Anyone opt for PMI over an 80/10/10?
We just did a 30 year fixed mortgage with PMI. We were considering the split mortgage also, but for some reason, when we worked it out both ways, the mortgage with PMI only cost us an extra $50 a month. We are planning on staying in our house for a long time, so we figured we were better off having a fixed interest rate. Eventually we will drop the PMI. The PMI is $205 a month. It is just what seemed best for us. Everybody has to try to figure what his best for their own situation. Good luck! I know it is very confusing.
