Krups sucks, so I am not talking about ANY of those companies..

I am talking Saeco,Jura, Francis Francis, Gaggia, Lavazza, La Pavoni

I am looking for a good one, with a brass or stainless boiler. semi automatic.

if you or your parents own...please tell me the who's and the whats of it.

This is probably on your "no" list.. but we have this one and think it's great:

DH worked at Starbucks a while back and the drinks he makes with this machine are definitely comparable.

MMM I could go for a vanilla soy latte right now!Chat Icon

I covet Jura machines, but in the meantime, I have a Tassimo.

Right now I have a Nespresso machine.

The only negative is they have 'pods' and only their pods fit into the machine ... but they have a full line of different espresso's and longo's to choose from (mild to strong, regular to decaf) ... maybe 25 different choices so you are bound to find the perfect blend for you. I am partial to both the Arpeggio and Vivalto blends.

we have a tassimo as well, and it makes really good espresso and cappuchino (as well as other coffees)

I love this one!

I am just now getting the hang of it BUT it says to make it a few times and throw it out but I could never bring myself to do that LOL

My parents have a Lavazza and love it.

We have a Saeco and love it. It is so easy to use an once you the right combination of coffee, grind size and strength it tastes even better.
I am kinda sad that we had to put ours away for now. We moved to NJ and the water is just not the same and the coffee doesn't taste as good.

We have the Saeco Incanto I think and worth every penny!

The Starbucks blend is great, but some of the ones you guys get in the states, I can't get here in the UK. I might get my mom to bring some over with her when she comes in two weeks time.

Saeco Primea Touch Plus Espresso Machine. Awesome.

Ours is currently on loan since I so rarely used it and we are in the middle of a ban on having company over.
