Anyone read My Sister's Keeper?
I am only 50 pages in but I am so mad at my friend for making me read this!!!! I am horrified already!
Is it a bad book for me to be reading or does it get less detailed about her cancer as the book progresses?

If you are having a struggle now with emotionally then it doesn't get any better. Their was actually a post about this book about a month ago. It is an excellent book but a lot of controversy in my opinion.

I agree. You will get more emotionally involved as you read on. It might not be the book for you.

AH yes,I can definitely see where there would be controversy....it's just the actual talk about a small child having cancer that gets me, as I have a 16 month old....it just makes it more real....

It is a very emotional book with a lot of controversy. That being said, I really liked it. I thought it was thought provoking and very well written.
And I think they're making it into a movie with Cameron Diaz.

I thought the plot was interesting but the story as a whole was like a Lifetime movie. Hated it!
