My sister can't conceive, I am trying to share this for her(((PLEASE READ)))
Dear Friends & Family,
We are writing to ask for your help. As some of you may know, Jim & I want very much to adopt a baby. Our attorney, who specializes in adoption, has advised us that we can adopt much more quickly if we tell everyone we know that we are trying to adopt.
We are spreading the word in the hope that you can help.
We have everything a child could want, but most of all, we can offer a loving, stable home. Should you hear of anyone who is pregnant and may be considering adoption, please contact us. You may also encourage her to contact either us or our attorney, Jean

She would prefer to contact us first, she may call us at XXX-XXX-XXXX, send us an e-mail at [email protected] or we can telephone her, write her a letter or meet with her.
You can also help us tremendously by spreading the word to your friends, colleagues or acquaintances.
Doctors(particularly obstetricians and gynecologists), clergy members, attorney, social workers, school guidance counselors, nurses and gym teachers are often in the best position to know of a woman experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. You may know someone in one of these professions to whom you can pass along our information. We would also be so happy to send them the information directly if you prefer.
Since we have been approved and recommended as adoptive parents by a state licensed adoption agency, your referral is strictly legal under New Jersey law. Please call us anytime if you would like more information or if you know of anyone we should contact.

Good luck to her!
I know one of my closests friend had the best luck when she worked through an agency versus an adoption attorney. If she ever get to the point where she's looking into agencies, feel free to FM me & I'll get the info for her. My friend adopted domestically & it took her 6 months.

Here's a ray of hope - my SIL is a Nurse Practitioner. She had a patient who was pregnant and wanted to give the baby up. She had another patient who was looking to adopt. She got them together and the rest as they say is history!!

Also - my SIL adopted domestically VERY quickly through Catholic Charities - but that was about 24 years ago...
