anyone swtch from iPhone to Droid?
sorry in advance if this has been asked a million times. ive been mia.
i have the iphone and i absolutely love it but i get poor to zero service in my new apt.
i am thinking of switcing over to verizon and heard the droid is cool.
any suggestions?
has anyone gone from the iphone to a droid? regrets?

I switched so I could be o a family plan with DH and I love the Droid. I dont have any issues where I had nothing but problems with the iphone.
Never drop calls anymore and the internet is crazy fast

OK, my usual disclaimer is that I work for Sprint.
We have an AMAZING Android phone coming out on June 4th that is going to work on our 4G network (NY area is supposed to upgrade the network sometime during the summer) The phone is fast, has really cool applications and there are over 35,000 apps in the Android Market, most of them free... just like the iPhone app store.
It's called the EVO, go to this site to check it out! I can attest to the fact that it is AWESOME (and not just because I work for the company... we have launched a lot of phones and I don't usually get excited about them)

DH and I have already pre-ordered ours! Neither of us have had iPhones though.
DH's good friend is switching from the iPhone to the EVO though and he can't wait. He, however, HATES his iPhone and is counting the days down until it's out of his life

 I'm getting this when it comes out!! I've been saving my upgrade discount for over a year now waiting for something good and it looks like the EVO is it!
To the OP: I've heard nothing but good things about android phones. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have the iphone now and switched from a Droid based phone and I LOVE the iPhone and HATED the Droid...
I know in Brooklyn and NYC there are issues getting coverage with AT&T... my friend who lives in W. Village said they are coming out w/ a new device that boosts mobile signal in a house.

hmm interesting.
ever since i moved (april 1st) i cant get signal. my new place is in jersey city, but ive called att&t and they keep telling me there are towers in my area and it should work fine.
i have to go outside and dow the block every single time i want to make a call. forget about receiving calls. doesnt happen.
i sooo wish i could keep my iphone but this just isnt worth it.
