Anyone take Folgard?
My OB just prescribed this for me based on some blood work I just got back. I didn't take it with my last pregnancy-- but it appears to just be a crazy packed vitamin. There are no side effects or anything, right?
Also my insurance doesn't cover it-- but I did look online and it seems you can purchase from Amazon, etc. Is the OTC the same as the RX one?

I take something like that....vitamin B and extra folic acid.
No side effects. Ask your doctor about OTC and RX. Mine isn't covered either. I think I pay 30-40 for a 3 months supply.

I take it...no side effects. See if your insurance covers FABB...it is the same thing. I know I had the same issue with my insurance, but I was covered for Folgard not FABB, once my insurance did some research...they found out it was the same and now cover both.
Good Luck!

thanks-- this is what my pharmacy gave me... It's $24 for a 30 month supply, and I am just TTCing now, so how ever many months it takes, plus 10 months of pregnancy... That adds up.
I am going to see what happens this month, since I just got my first months supply and see what my options are before I refill.
