Anyone thinking of switching to Verizon?
Anyone thinking of switching to Verizon? I called the other company fabulous Cablevision yesterday to see what they can do for me and all they could offer me was $17 cheaper on my cable service (basically take away the movie channels). We also have internet and phone with them. What are your opinions on Fios and are you happy with them ?

I think FIOS has a promotion going on now. Showtime and Starz for free until the end of the year.

I would LOOOOOOVE to switch to Fios! they're not available in my area yet 
my parents have Fios since January and LOVE it! they get a ton of channels and more HD channels than we do with our silver package from Cablevision and pay like $110 a month for all 3 services

I just posted in another thread... Verizon is cheaper BUT the tech support is terrible!! I have lost phone 7 times and internet 3 times this past year. Very annoying and horrible customer service. They have expanded too quickly and can't keep up. I would stick with optimum if your service is fine!

I HAVE FiOS available in my area and currently have no interest in switching. I've had no problems w/Cablevision.

I have fios and its fine. I don't have the movie channels because I don't really use them, I rent or use the on demand. I was very satisfied with Verizon wireless so I went with Verizon vios.
