Anyone tried these nursing gown/PJ's??
I ran across these online, im trying to find something comfy for my c-section since i will be in the hospital for 4 days and to wear at home after we come home. They are supposed to be very comfy and easy for BF'ing too. They are the Aimee Nursing Gowns.
Im kinda wondering how the 2 piece PJ set will be with a c-section incision but the website says the top of the 2 piece PJ set can be used as a day shirt during the day, which i like.

I honestly wouldn't bother spending the $. They charge so much for all this nursing stuff.
Get a couple of nursing tanks or bras to wear in the hospital and button down top pj's.
The pants should be fine, I wore pants the whole time I was in the hospital. The incision is very low, so as long as the waist of the pants go above it, you will be fine.

I bought a few, and honestly I think they are a waste of money. I find just wearing a nursing bra, especially a night nursing bra and a regular tank top or tee shirt much easier. The nursing part of the night gown was cut strange and it was hard to get your boob out.

Actually now that I look at those night gowns, I think they might not be so bad. I think you can just pull down the sides. If that is the case then, then I think it would be fine to buy a few. Especially for the hospital. I had ones from Pea in a pod, and they where not designed good IMO. Just wanted to tell you from my experience that the hospital was so hot at night and during the day. A night gown is really nice to have at night. I'm someone who is cold all the time, and I was sweating.
I didn't have a C-section so I can't comment on wearing pants. I would wear my night gown at night and then when people came to visit during the day, I put on pants and a robe. The women next to me had a C-section and she stayed in a night gown the whole time.
