Re: Anyone try P90X?
My brother got it for Christmas..tried it once and was shocked at how hard it was. Hasnt picked it up since. He also needs a lot of space to do it in...and he doesnt really have it. Good luck..I heard its quite challenging!

Re: Anyone try P90X?
Yes, I do the plyometrics once a week. The program is no joke; it is very intense. If you do it, take breaks as needed and modify, modify, modify! Good luck!

Re: Anyone try P90X?
DH has this and the workouts are INSANE. He was shocked at how hard they were... but he kept with it, and really started to notice a difference. The diet is very hard to stick to IMO.

Re: Anyone try P90X?
Pink was on Oprah today and she uses P90X to get in shape for touring - she said it's really hard core.

DH has used it for a week and loves it. I just did the first DVD yesterday and it's intense. My chest and back are very sore today Totally worth it!

I wanna try it, but I'm afraid it might be too hard and then i'll give up. I do Billy Blanks boot camp and I do well with it.

Re: Anyone try P90X?
I am thinking about buying this too but I am scared I will not be able to do it. I am hoping it is a program that I can do 3 - 4 times a week. I just dont know if I can get to it everyday

One of the things he says all the time is set goals. On the video they do 20 pull ups or chin up and there are modified ways to do them. I can't do regular ones for sh!t but the modified ones I can do. If you can do 7 the first time that's great. It's 7 more than you did before! Next time you do that video try for 8. Those are the goals he's talking about. Everyone knows you aren't going to do 20 the first time around. You have to get your body conditioned to do them. Good luck!

We use our guest bedroom. They say you only need a little bit of space, which is true. If you can lay down on your floor and stretch your arms and legs straight and not hit anything, that's enough space.
