Anyone use a pilates machine?

I really want to get one. I love that long lean body look & know that pilates is the way to get that. Does anyone use a pilates machine & love it?

I love the pilate reformer!!! I use to take classes all the time in the city and it was the best shape I was in..( 2x pilates as well as doing 4x cardio a week)

I havent done it in awhile but looking to find a studio now out in LI.

I do have this for my home. ( i have their original version)

pilate machine

It's an inexpensive at home version of the pilate reformer machine ( you can do most of the same excercises on this but it doesnt move as smoothly). You can use this on an incline to add a lot more weight- which my husband uses it for. The real machines cost about $2,500

Thanks for the response. Do you think that the home machine you have will help get you in that great shape again? Or are the studio machines much better than those in home machines? I'm mainly interested in it to help my post preg body get back into shape in July.

It def will help you! It's amazing for Abs/core and legs!!! This machine limits your movement with some of the arm excercises. It's awesome overall for toning and especially for tightening those stomach muschles.
