Anyone uses organic infant formula?
did you switch from none organic? can you share your experiences? What brand do you use? We drink organic milk in our house, so I don't know why I never thought of using organic formula for DD until now.
I BF, and supplement with Enfamil, but DD started spitting up a lot, so we changed to Enfamil AR and she got constipated, now I mix the two, so the consistency isn't so thick. My milk supply is not to great, so I might need to get DD on formula full time soon. I originally planned to BF her till June, just before I return to work.
TIA!

Re: Anyone uses organic infant formula?
I used organic similac. I also supplemented. All was well with everything. the coupons were good for the similac. It's more $$$ though.

Re: Anyone uses organic infant formula?
I was Bfing and supplementing with regualar similac from about 5 months on. Then at about 7 months I we got our membership to BJs and they had the organic - so I switched. I also stopped bfing around that time. I went back and forth to organic/non organic, but mostly stuck with organic from that point on. No problems, but DD was very lucky with the formula - no need for any special kind. Good luck.

Re: Anyone uses organic infant formula?
I read in a book by the dr. that wrote "happiest baby on the block" that parents should not use organic formula and my sister, who was a nutritionist, and my uncles who are doctors, said not to use it - I forget why. Nothing drastic, just something about regular formula being better - this dr. was specific that parents should try and give children organic foods, except for milk. I have the book at home, so I will try and find the chapter.

Re: Anyone uses organic infant formula?
I used Earth's Best (milk-based, not soy-based) Organic formula as a supplement starting at 5 months. I increased the bottles of formula to bottles of breast milk ratio until she was fully weaned from the breast at 10 months. The best price I found was for the case at diapers.com.

Re: Anyone uses organic infant formula?
I EBF for several months, then gave regular Similac when I had to supplement when I returned to work. Very shortly after that, I discovered Similac Organic and switched to that-- thankfully DD had no issues switching between organic & non-organic, but she was already on Similac so there wasn't much of a change to her body, KWIM?
The best price on the organic was BJs, sometimes Waldbaum's had a good sale. And I agree with someone above, the Similac coupons definitely work on Organic too.
