Anyone using an OB that will deliver at Southside?
I'm 32 weeks and I think i might want to switch my OB  I didn't have a good experience at Good Sam last time so I really wanted to try to deliver at Southside this time?
I should mention id really like a small office

I use Berlin and Egner. They deliver at Southside. I really like them both and they have an awesome office staff.

Anyone using an OB that will deliver at Southside?
I would not change at this point and most OBs will not take a new patient so late in a pregnancy without it being a need such as moving to the area etc.

I'm at southside right now and my ob is Dr Kasten. I've been going to him for the past 12 years. He just delivered my son! Dr Egner also works a few days out of his office and she delivered my dd 2.5 years ago.

I agree. Do what you feel is right but I would be kinda surprised if a doctor would be willing to take you on without a good reason so far into your pregnancy. Is there something recently happened that has made you change your mind?

I just have been feeling like my dr talks down to me. I loved him when I delivered my first but something's diff. I kept saying I'd stick w him at this point but I called to ask him a question I was concerned about last night and he was talking to me like I was stupid and shouldn't have called. That's on top of the fact I feel Ike he does that when he doesn't know the answer to things. I really don't want to switch but I just don't feel comfortable anymore. Maybe I'll try to stick it out

I'd never let a doctor talk down to me. If you don't feel comfortable, then by all means check out other options, just do it as quickly as possible. Good luck!

Pillitteri. Small office, just him, which means LONG wait times, but when push comes to shove, he's a good Dr. He delivers at GS and Southside. I've heard good things about Southside. I had a bad experience at GS too.

If you're not comfortable with your doctor then maybe it is worth looking into switching. He shouldn't be talking down to you, that is really unprofessional and rude. I'm still not sure how willing a new doctor would be to take you this far into a pregnancy but you can always call and see what they say. Good luck!
