Anyone wanna do the children's book exchange w/ me? (buy 1 and get 36 in return)
Some of you I'm sure are already participating, since it was LIFers on FB that sent me the letter, but I thought that some others may be interested and I need more people to send the letter to.
Basically you just buy one new children's book and send it to one name on the list- then you get 36 new books back in return (by circulating the exchange letter w/ six new mommies that you know who then circulate themselves etc...). Kinda like a chain letter but with books and no bad luck, lol.
Anyway, if you want to participate message me ur address and child's name and I'll send you the letter.

thanks for the reminder! I have to send my letters out also... once you get your 6 people everyone else who is interested can send their address to me!

I'd be interested, as long as it for real works. I always get involved in these "pyramid" type things and end up getting screwed!

To the OP - have you sent out 6 letters already? Because once you have you have filled your requirement. Now everyone else has to find 6 people to send letters to. This is why I started a new thread

I'D LIKE TO GET INVOLVED...BUT DON'T REALLY GET HOW I WOULD ONLY SEND ONE BOOK AND GET 36. hOW WOULD 36 PPL GET MY ADDRESS???

It goes like this-
I send you a letter w/ 2 names/addressesThe first name is the person u send the book to. The 2nd name is the person who sent u the letter. You mail a book to #1 and then send the letter to 6 new moms but u switch the 2nd name into first spot and put ur own name into the second spot. Now the 6 people u send the letter to are sending the book to the person who sent u the letter. So, the letter u got also went to 5 other people who are sending it to 6 other people as well- hence the 36 books you SHOULD get in return. Will 36 actually show up? Not unless everyone follows it two degrees out from u, kwim? BUT I am sure I will get plenty back and hey all I need is one and it wouldn't be a "loss".
