Started off OK, but I was bored by 9:30.
I was sad about the person who died though.

Did anyone else Susan's version of "fat" was so NOT!? They made her face way fatter than her body.. For HER, that is fat considering she's a TOOTHPICK. For most of America, she was probably more on the "average" size. But yes, her face looked fatter than the rest of her body, but it was funny seeing her like that, mostly cuz she kept flaunting the fuller figure which was cute!

Re: anyone watch Desperate Housewives last night?
I loved it! I couldn't believe how everyone basically said "good riddance" to the character that died! And noone seemed too sad at the funeral...
I knew that was going to happen to Lynette- but I was sad when they showed her thinking in the future.
So much drama!
DH was making fun of me for watching the show when I told him people got hit by a plane.

Re: anyone watch Desperate Housewives last night?
i had a hard time getting through the Lynette part. I guess because I have a special needs child it was hard for me to watch. I wanted to hug Tom who bascially told her that in the end she needed to do all she could do instead of later regretting that she did nothing. And then the baby crying through therapy. We had days like that (my son isn't physically disabled like hers but that whole premise had a lot of parallels).
And then being strong enough to allow them to grow on their own and letting go and pushing them (with the sandwich)
And then seeing their success and how they rise above and how they themselves are so strong.
And she realizes that it was so hard and there were times that she didn't want to do it but in the end she was always so proud of his accomplishments and the road didn't seem so hard anymore.
And then to find out that she lost the baby. And throughout all of the hard times that may have been ahead she still would rather have a disabled child than no child at all.
It was touching to me. I would never trade my son for anything!

Re: anyone watch Desperate Housewives last night?
I did not like that they made Carl/Karl unreedemable. But they made Orson this lovesick do-gooder. Please, give me a man who cheats over an attempted murderer anyday.
Besides, I really liked Karl and Bree together.

Re: anyone watch Desperate Housewives last night?
I was upset about who they killed off the show. I really liked that whole story line.
I also thought "fat" Susan was pretty funny.

Re: anyone watch Desperate Housewives last night?
I thought "fat" Susan was ridiculous. Like anyone who is that size wears clothes like that and slouches/sits like a pig with their legs wide open while holding her skirt down over her crotch. I thought is was terrible.
Lynette's story line had me bawling.
I was not sad for Karl.
AND - I really like Drea DeMatteo's character. I really, really like her.

Re: anyone watch Desperate Housewives last night?
rised at how they did this episode. At first I was annoyed and didn't want to watch it because I thought it would be all about Susan, but after that I really got into it and enjoyed it. Lynett's storyline was almost to hard to watch, but I think they did a good job of keeping it emotional yet quick. I was thankful they didn't play it out more because I don't know if I could have watched it.

I agree with everything you said. I was so moved by that episode. I stopped watching it but now I am hooked again. between Lynette and the neighbors across the street in the witness protection program its getting better.
