Anyone watch Game of Thrones on HBO?
It took me a few episodes to figure it all out, who was related to who and how, etc. but it's getting really good.
The dwarf gets all the funny lines!

I'm into this series. I could do without all the boobies and the full monty and the kid still breast feeding at like 12....but otherwise I like it. Hopefully I'll get to pick up the books one day.
Interesting that the blond chic having the baby is the "dragon" and can't be hurt by fire. Wonder what that means.

I started reading the books when the series started and I LOOOOOVVVVE both!!! The HBO series follows very closely to the books because George R R Martin is one of the writers.
I'm on the third book and it keeps getting better and better!

Totally obsessed! I started watching the series with DH and then picked up the book. I agree with the PPs that the series stays close to the book. Never thought I would be into a series like this but it's good!!!

The first episode inspired me to read the books but I haven't started yet. DH (who has read the series thus far) is bugging me to get caught up soon because things are going to get crazy with the next episode. I'm doing some LIRR time this weekend so I hope to get caught up then!

I'm obsessed with this show, I have to watch every episode twice b/c I feel they cram so much information into each episode. Lanisters, Darthdrakians, wolves, knights, etc...
my head spins.
So far the Imp and the Dave Navarro Darthdrakian guy are my faves!

ooooh, its a whole series of books. Game of Thrones is the first book in a 7 part series (series is called Song of Fire and Ice). But get this.. he's only written 4 of the books so far, and the 5th comes out in July. There was 6 years between book 4 and book 5!! 
I started reading the first book at the beginning of the year and got totally sucked into the series and now i'm so mad that it probably won't end for years!!
But its still fantastic

LOVE this show- and love that Sundays will be filled up until True Blood comes back on!!!
I had a feeling that Prince was really the brother's son..... and the daughter that wants to marry him deserves a slap!
I hope the little sister doesn't get hurt, and I am curious to see what happens to the son. Also I think the "bast-ard" (sorry it was blocked out lol) is a real cutie!!
