I LOVED the class. Richie Velch was the best!!! And the girl who played Janis Ian from Mean Girls!

OMG my DH ran into him on the LIRR!! He said he is doing a show on Broadway (sorry forgot which one). But DH was so excited and played dumb and asked him if the show was coming back (but he knew it was canceled b/c I work in tv). Anyway he said he was soooo nice and very friendly. DH said he also seemed surprised that he recognized him almost like he was suprised he was famous.
It got canceled because it did not have good ratings! 
ETS forgot to mention I'm referring to Richie Velch

In the Robin Sparkles episode Barney and Marshall made a slap bet about her being a porn star.
Lily was the slap bet commissioner. 
Marshall gets to give Barney 3 slaps (I think) and he still owes him one.
The Class did okay in ratings, but it was replaced mid-season with Rules of Engagement, which did really well, so they jettisoned the Class for that.
Which is a shame, because I thought it was really funny.

I didn't realize it at first bc he looks so different now and with those glasses, but Kevin pointed it out to me when we saw the commercials for it.
They led us to believe the yellow umbrella is the mother but they keep doing that with all the girls Ted dates so we don't know for sure.

Last season there was the episode on the betting and Barney lost the bet and now will get slapped once more at another time - and this countdown warns Barney that Marshall didn't forget what he still gets to do to him!

They mentioned something in the beginning of the show when he was talking to the kids about how they know the story of the yellow umbrella so I'm assuming it is their mother...
