I've been watching both since the very beginning.
US on Tara was amazing the first season, and now I'm getting a bit tired of it...after watching last night's episode, I am excited that there may be some progress!

I love United States of Tara! I didn't get watch yet this season it's on my DVR. I watched Jackie in the beginning but the whole cheating on her DH turned my stomach and mad me way too angry at fake TV people so I stopped watching

I love Nurse Jackie!
US of Tara is getting annoying now. I watched the first season and it was really good, then got old, to me at least.

Yup, watch both. We are Showtime junkies and there are only a couple of their series that we don't watch.
I'm interested to see the new storyline with Tara this season - the new character (not gonna ruin it) especially in the previews of next week looks REALLY interesting.
Jackie... I felt the same way at times, hating her. But that's the point with a lot of Showtime's series. The main character is someone you love and hate at the same time. Dexter, Jackie, Shameless. I think they do it well and that it represents a closer look at real life instead of the "Hollywood ending" type storylines that you get with a lot of other series.
