Anyone watch the Oprah special last night-- on her school?
It was so incredibly moving-- these poor girls and what they have to put up with in their daily lives... so heartbreaking.
And if it's possible, I love Oprah more now. She is such an incredible humanitarian.

Amazing....I cried through most of the show. So many kids take education for granted. I loved seeing how excited and appreciative the girls were for the opportunity.
ETA: For those that missed it, I saw a commercial here in Chicago that they were going to replay it Saturday afternoon.

I totally agree-- I was crying the whole time... the fact that we even take our BEDS for granted and a TOILET is unbelievable.
The fact that I can sit here and say that my 1100 sq foot apt is small is INSANE. Really puts life in perspective.
I am totally donating money to that cause. I was really moved.

It was extremely touching, I was crying through the whole thing. You go from watching something like that were these young girls are so grateful for the gift of education, then turn to MTV and see these spoiled brats on "Sweet 16" and it really makes you sick.
