Does anyone know if this is show is based on the novel at all?
I missed it but it looks funny and I enjoyed the book...

i especially loved it as a preggo--but if i wasnt going thru it I dont know if I would like it/relate to it so much
As someone who is not PG, I related a lot to the first few minutes where they were going through"the plan", the decision about having children, and where she was noticing that everyone around her was pregnant. I have several friends who have babies or who are expecting, and I see so many of the ladies on here who got married at the same time as me having children, so it's something that's very much on my mind, although we're still planning on waiting a couple of years.
I still enjoyed the show after that initial piece, but didn't relate to it nearly as much. However, I love anything relating to babies in general, so I think I'll enjoy the series.
