anyone who used willy the painter?
okay...so is there anyway to get a quote from him without him actually seeing the inside of the new co op we are buying? we have pics and sq footage.
is that a super dumb idea? is that even possible?
we are hoping to close in 2-4 weeks and boom.... just in time for our lease ending here...so there wouldnt be much time for painting and floor issues and would love to be able just to have it all done quickly.
can painters/....handymen give ballpark quotes from pics?
okay and if not... what do you guesstimate a 2 bd co op 1200 sq ft to cost to paint? kitchen, bathrooms and small bedroom do not need paint at all.
totally new at this.... help a sister out lol
tyyyyyyy xoxoo jenn
ps and if any of you have pics of work done by him or someone you really like i would appreciate it!!! and you can fm if you like with price if you dont want to on here. tyyyyyyyyy

willy!
he's doing our home this week!! we are so excited. We should have went with him from the start.
i'm assuming he would have to really look at your place in order to get a good idea. He really took a good look around at our rooms, which I appreciated.
You may try asking him, but I am not sure....painters have to look at the condition of the walls, etc...do you want the ceiling done? the trim? etc.....we aren't having the ceiling or trim done, as it's in fine condition.
what is the size of the room(s) you want painted?

Re: anyone who used willy the painter?
uhhhhh i dont have dimensions specifically on each on the rooms....i know our bedroom will 11 x 19 i think honestly dont know about celings trims etc... at a loss!
it would be great to be able to get the floors shined/varnished/polished..
and the place repainted...or should i say painted to pretty colors... its freshly painted but stark white except for bathrooms and kitchen which are perfect!!! wheeee
i guess we will have to move in first it seems to be able to get quotes. i dont think seller will allow us to get in the place till final closing.
whaaa!!! lol

you'd be surprised!
i had people come in for estimates and such while we were closing. the seller was cool with it and understood; I just asked when the best time would be for her.
it may not hurt to ask the sellers - worst they can say is no, know what i mean?
