Anyone with Panic and Anxiety that has been on meds or any pharmacists please help!!
You can FM me if you dont want anyone to know.... but here's my situation... I've been on Zoloft for a long time 50mg... I have been getting more anxiety, panic, depression, and my dr suggested increasing to 75mg... my question is... will I get added anxiety/panic like when I first went on it or no because its already in my system? Someone please let me know their experience! TIA!!

In my experience, upping the dosage did not affect my anxiety levels any during the transition to a higher level.
I was on Paxil though, so I'm not sure if the Zoloft experience would be different.
Good luck!

I was on Lexapro for a while and I didn't feel any extra anxiety - I actually started to feel better when the dosage was increased.
Do you get anxiety all the time or just sparatically (spelling) ? I went off lexapro and just went to xanax b/c I got them so infrequent. And that worked better than ever.

I have been getting anxiety almost all the time lately... I've been going through a ton of stress... lost my job, my grandpa has been sick etc... and now I cant get myself to feel better!!

Inreasing the dosage will probably help. You may feel a few days of jitters but it should subside as your body gets used to it. I had a little nausea. Not really bad and it didn't stop me from my normal routine.
I am since off of it now and sometimes I get those same feelings back, but after seeing someone I've developed some good coping skills I didn't have before.
Maybe you should see a therapist as well if you're not already?

In my experience, it was the same as Leighla- I was on effexor though. When I upped the dosage it helped the anxiety- my side effects when i did that were wierder dreams (temporarily)- but they were just wierd, not upsetting. I hope you feel better soon!

My hubbie was on a low dose of Lexapro. It was helping , so it was increased. He had none of the side effects that you mentioned.
But def speak to your health care provider.
