Anyone work for a vet?

My cat is on prescription food due to UTI issues in the past. I always order the food online, but am now being told my order can no longer be filled because I haven't been back to the vet (first got the script 3/11)

Can anyone here send me a script without having to spend money on an office visit just to get an updated script?

TIA!

This may not help but my cat has the same issue and I finally got frustrated and just started buying Purina Pro Plan Urinary Health formula at Petco.
And it has worked great for him.

Anyone work for a vet?

My cat is on special cat food as well. I get mine directly from the vet. I just call and ask if they have it. No office visit charge.

Do you have that option until it's time for you to take him back for a regular appointment?

I have to call them and see what they will do... Just can't afford the extra bill for such a stupid reason. Cat has been healthy as a horse bc he's been eating this rx food... Can't see why they would have to have me bring him in Chat Icon

Definitely call them. If it is something they prescribed before, I can't see them asking you to bring him in just so you can get more food.

Update us and let us know what happens!

Good luck!

I take my cats to the vet once a year for a physical and a blood draw to make sure that everything is okay with them. I dont think a yearly vet visit is unwarranted.Chat Icon

You're right. I really should do this. I tell myself I'm going to bring them and I never do Chat Icon
