How are the benefits? Environment? Do you get a discount on cable, etc?

My hubby does, Free cable free internet free phone... Discounts are some restaurants and movie theaters.
We just went to see the pursuit of happyness free at the cablevision theater

My former best friend and my former roommate both worked for them.
Decent benefits.
Free cable.
They used to have Movie nights on Fridays and they get crazy discounts on tickets at Radio City and MSG. We used to sit in the box for concerts and sporting events all the time.
They are big on the employee perks.
Granted, this is from a couple years ago, but one of them still works there, going on 8 years, so it can't be that bad. I think she's the benefits manager now.

Oh ya... We got great tickets to Chili Peppers Elton and Billy (a couple of times) We won free tickets to Elton.
We saw The christmas spectacular had 4th row.

Immediate benefits for Health benefits, etc. The free cable I think was after 3 months & there are discounts to the premiums (DVR, etc). The salaries are a little lower than other competitors jobs, but the Medical benefits are 100% paid by the company if you chose the EPO.

I worked there 4 years ago so this may have changed, but if you have Time Warner cable, they pay for it as well. I always thought that was pretty cool.

Free cable, internet, phone (you have to pay a nominal fee for the cable box)
Free tickets to a Cablevision event (includes MSG event, concerts, etc).
My sister took my family to see Beauty & the Beast right before Christmas.
Don't know about the health plan but can ask. If you need more info, FM & I can forward to her.

It definitely depends on the department. Some are just stupid hectic, but it is a very good place to work for the most part.

agree. I know a few people that work in sales and CS and don't like the job. They also say the pay isn't so hot but they do say the benefits are great!

Apparently there are alot of us.
I cant complain. The benefits are good, the perks are great, there is alot of opportunity for movement/advancement (Since I got here 3 years ago, I was promoted and recenlty moved to another job in a different function), and I think the pay is good.

I do - great benefits that everyone listed and agree with the salaries - they are ok, raises arent that great company wide no matter how great your review is
