Anyone work for Geico or familiar with auto claims?

My windshield cracked & I need to replace it. Is it better just to call up a glass place and do it on my own?

Or go through insurance? It seems I have full glass coverage but do I have to pay a deductible?

I don't think the deductible applies to glass. Check your ins papers to see the coverage details or call & see what they say

I have had to replace pretty much every windshield I have ever had

I have full glass and never paid a dime. I have Geico for my insurance

rates arent suppose to go up for glass claims..

however check your policy, full glass(No deductible) coverage is not standard- you have to elect it .
