Anyone's DC have a reaction to the varicella vaccine?
DH is being such a hypocondriac and wanted me to ask you guys if your DC's have had any adverse reactions to this vaccine.
He keeps asking me if I think Gavin should get it today......he's driving me crazy!

DS hasn't had it yet--DHs immune system is compromised and an Infectious Disease Specialist recommended delaying it until/if his system is back to normal.
The specialist did say that side effects with this shot are more common than with others (she did okay the MMR vaccine for example). And since DHs immune system isn't in good shape, he could develop shingles if exposed. Exactly how common side effects are, I don't know.

DS had a slightly reddened area where they injected it, but that was it!

My ds got his about a month ago. No reaction what so ever. No spots, no fever, nothing
