Anyone's DC LESS happy when carseat was turned forward-facing?
We installed Thomas' convertible carseat forward-facing a few weeks ago after being rear-facing in his infant seat for 14 months. I thought he would LOVE facing forward. He does, I guess... he points to everything and smiles at me a lot, BUT he also complains and whines more! I feel like when he was rear facing, he couldn't see me and was quiet and minded his own business! Now, he's constantly throwing his pacifier, throwing his Elmo doll, then crying because he wants them, etc. I think because he can see me, he wants my attention and he's always whining and complaining.
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks!

No but only reason why is because the DVD is right in front of her.
Not always does she watch it but she is at a point where she wants out of that carseat. She squirms and tells me, momma..up! (meaning out). and then cries.
DVD goes on and boom, a pleasant ride to wherever we are going.

I really regret not getting a DVD player when we bought the minivan... We have a portable one, but the contraption to set it up between the seats, didn't work right - the straps were too short... Plus, the screen is really small... I also think he wants to be out of the seat... He pulls at the straps and squirms.

I am at a loss!!
He was such a happy guy in the car rear-facing (for the most part), and now he seems like such a crank!
Thanks!
