Anyone's DC on a lactose free formula? Which one?
We saw a Ped GI and they suggested that we try a lactose free formula for supplmenting. Can anyone recommend one?

Do you mean soy?
IIRC, I don't think there are really "lactose free" formulas besides soy anymore. Gentlease has broken down milk protein and then there are hypoallergenic formulas as well.
Similac Sensitive may be lactose free, but I'm not sure about that..
Did he give a suggestion of a specific formula?

although he doesn't have any lactose issues, so we're weaning to regular enfamil.

DS is on Similac Sensitive RS (rice starch). He has been doing great with it (except for the constipation which prune juice seems to take care of!).

DS has a lactose issue & has been on Similac Sensitive with no issues since he was 3 weeks old

DD is on nutramigen, but Im not sure it is completely lactose free....it is just realllllyyy broken down milk protein. Then again, neither would your BM right?

I was curious because I know I've seen lactose free formulas before, and I did a search, and believe it or not, Walmart's brand Parent's Choice makes a lactose free formula.

my DS went on alimentum at 10 weeks (is that lactose free??)
he also went on zantac but that was thru the ped (isaw your other post).. i think it helped a little with the burning and screaming and crying when he did throw up, but it doesnt stop the spitting up and occasional projectile..
the messiness didnt stop until aorund 6-7 months...

Kaydyn did great on Similac Sensitive and I believe it's Lactose Free.

We are currently on Isomil - not sure if this is lactose free. However, I am thinking of switching to Prosobee because there is table sugar in the Isomil.
