anyone's infant not care for water?

DD doesn't care much for water...whenever i try to give it to her she turns her head and refuses. i know it would help with her poopy diapers, as we've started solids and (TMI alert) they're alot more firm in consistency - but she won't take water.

At some point do they start liking water more or do i have a wackadoo kid?

My DS isn't interested either. We just started trying though (as per the ped we should start at 6 months+) so I'm hoping he's just getting used to it.

My pediatrician told me not to start until a year, but I did try and my son takes a couple sips and throws it on the ground. I tried mixing a little juice in it, and he still doesn't like it. The only time he will drink it is out of an open cup

She started liking water once she was old enough for a sippy cup - but it had to be ice water. We put a cube or 2 in the sippy cup and add the water. The ice can't be choked on that way I figure. At 13 months she loves her water, has it with every meal/snack and between meals.
