Anything out there similiar to TIVO???
I read on the TIVO site you need a phone line at least once to set it up. Well we dont have a home phone. Cablevision site not showing they offer anything comparable...is there any other products out there??

Re: Anything out there similiar to TIVO???
I have DVR through cable. It is basically the same thing as TIVO, but you don't need a phone line. Also, they replace your existing cable box with a new one with the DVR in it, so you don't need an extra box. Another plus is that the new box is free, you just pay for installiation which I think was like 35.00 or something.
Forgot to add you then pay around $10 a month for the service.
