Re: apartment complexes
DH and I loved living at the Heatherwood Apt. Complex in PJS. They have them located thorought Suffolk. They offer studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apts. We had a 1 bedroom upstairs unit with a moderate size kitchen, large LR, full bathroom and a large bedroom with two huge closets for each of us.
Our two years of living there were very peaceful and we highly recommend them.

Re: apartment complexes
We just rented in Holtsville at Victorian Gardens. They have 1 and 2 bedrooms and the 2 bedrooms have 2 baths! Very reasonable in rent. We sign the lease on Thursday.

Re: apartment complexes
Saddle Rock in Sayville is very nice. It's a gaited complex right off of Sunrise Service road.

Re: apartment complexes
DH and I lived in a building in LB for 2+ years - address is 951 Oceanfront (building doesn't have a name.)
The apartments are nice - hardwood floors, well-kept, etc. and many have oceanviews and/or terraces that have oceanview or oceanfront. There is laundry in the building, bike storage, parking spots (extra and usually a waiting list) and cats are allowed.
The landlord is a really nice guy; never had any problems. We had a one bed, one bath oceanview apt for $1275, including parking spot.

Re: apartment complexes
Thank You for everyones responses. they will be a great help. We moved to PA one year ago from Long Island and I am not happy so we are looking to move back in the spring but wanted ideas to hit my husband with. Men can live anywhere but with an unhappy wife they can't. He is retired and I was involved in a car accident not long after moving here. Just had surgery so looking for all the info we can get.
